Aladdin

Episode Summary


Erin and Rachel travel to the (problematically) imaginary land of
Agrabah to discuss Aladdin (1992), debating whether this
film can overcome its staggering orientalism to be the diamond in
the rough we’d all like it to be. Highlights include Robin
Williams, Howard Ashman, and Ottoman Empire fashion.
