125. Pushing Through Technology Resistance and Learning How to Master Funnels, Tech, SEO, Spreadsheets and Facebook Ads With Confidence

Being a business owner means getting good at failing. Today I am
talking about the scary world of technology and how it can make
online coaches and course creators feel like failures. It is so
common to run into resistance when it comes to learning how to
master funnels, run ads, and work with spreadsheets, but you
don’t have to be scared of it because you CAN get through
it. 


I’ve recently been working through a lot of technology with my
student Jami. Jami used to be scared of spreadsheets until I
encouraged her to push through the resistance and now she is
dominating spreadsheets. The first time you see something you
don’t understand, your first response should NEVER be “I can’t do
this”.


SIMPLICITY TO START 


When it comes to the technology side of things, DO NOT subscribe
to too many apps. I know this is hard because it can be less
expensive and simplified, but even in the simple ones there is
enough to do and much to keep up with. I always recommend an all
inclusive app that will allow you to keep everything in one
place. You want to focus on one thing at a time so that you can
get really good at that first before moving on to add another
thing. Please know that you won't understand something until you
get in there and do it. 



YOU CAN LEARN TECHNOLOGY


You CAN learn technology! You can learn SEO, spreadsheets,
Facebook ads, funnels, you can learn it all! Think of it like a
puzzle you need to figure out. It’s really about shaping your
mindset to know that you will eventually connect the pieces.
There is support everywhere…Youtube, tutorials, customer support,
etc. Someone will have instructions on how to do it. Read more…
