Our first LIVE podcast! After all the global hype our seaside
town Greystones, has been getting post the introduction of the
mobile phone ban in primary schools, we decided to speak to the
people behind it and learn more.

Meet Rachel Harper, St. Patrick’s National School Principle,
Andrea Splendori, Podcast Host and front runner behind the
initiative, and finally Joshua Barrington, Temple Carrig’s School
Chaplain.

This is a fascinating conversation that goes far deeper than what
you expect, from how and why the initiative ‘It Takes A Village’
started, to school kids being ‘catfished’, porn and teenages,
bullying, anxiety, addiction, FOMO and a reflection on us as
adults and our own screen usage.

There are so many practical takeaways from this episode,
Greystones is just an example, the Initiative plans to take the
framework global so that every town can learn the steps to
support their youth and older in this technology fast paced and
growing world.

Technology is amazing, when used appropriately. We need to learn
how to respect it, and be tech literate in order to protect
ourselves and our precious youth.

Lots of love,

Dave & Steve
