News 398: Apple 'Scary Fast' Event - M3 MacBook Pro & iMac

At its October 'Scary Fast' event, Apple unveiled new MacBook Pro
laptops featuring the powerful new M3 family of chips, as well as
a refreshed 24-inch iMac desktop with the M3 chip. The M3, M3
Pro, and M3 Max chips offer dramatic leaps in performance and
efficiency thanks to a new 3-nanometer manufacturing process.
Apple also highlighted new GPU architecture in the M3 chips,
enabling advanced graphics capabilities like hardware-accelerated
ray tracing. The MacBook Pro and iMac retain the same form
factor, but the MacBook Pro now comes in a new Space Black color
option.
