Shift from judgment to curiosity; Judgement leaves you stuck
in dieting and diet culture; curiosity allows you to ask what I
am feeling and what do I need? Food is not always the answer.

Create awareness: it is the key to change. Awareness supports
asking questions “what I am feeling and what do I need?” When we
notice our thoughts and actions, we learn to respond vs. react.

Focus on Self-Compassion vs. Self-Esteem: Self-Esteem is
based on comparison; you feel great when you think you are
"better" than someone else and feel less than when you don't
measure up. This is what keeps many people stuck in dieting and
diet culture. Self-Compassion allows you to offer yourself
kindness and know that you are not alone and that everyone
suffers. Self-Compassion is there all day, every day. Self-esteem
is only your "friend" on the "good" days.
