figure in polo breeding, has spent over 30 years shaping the
success of Isinya Horse Development Corporation. Raised in Los
Angeles, Skolnik's polo journey began at Will Rogers Polo Club,
and her passion for green horses led her to work for Kerry Packer
in Australia. In 1992, she joined forces with Owen Rinehart to
establish Isinya HDC in Aiken, South Carolina, dedicated to
Thoroughbred polo breeding.

-sinya HDC, named "a place of sand" in Maasai, focuses on
breeding specifically for polo, a patient process championed by
Skolnik. The facility's reputation among high-goal players and
teams like Valiente attests to its commitment to excellence.
Recognized as the 'Best Breeder of the Year' in 2009, Isinya's
motto—breed to the best and expect the best—reflects their
dedication to producing top-tier polo ponies.

Skolnik emphasizes breeding 100% for polo, ensuring the horses
understand the nuances of the game. Isinya offers various
breeding options, including shipped semen and embryo transfer,
catering to the needs of high-goal players. Skolnik's hands-on
approach includes early human contact for foals, fostering
comfort and affection, setting a foundation for successful
training.

Beyond high-goal tournaments, Isinya caters to low-goal owners,
encouraging responsible breeding to pass exceptional traits to
the next generation. Skolnik's expertise extends to stallion
selection, emphasizing the importance of seeking opinions from
those who have bred to a particular stallion. Isinya HDC,
blending Argentine and American bloodlines, has produced notable
champions, showcasing Skolnik's dedication to excellence in polo
breeding.
