you to one of women’s best and rising polo stars, Isabella “Issy”
Wolf. From Middleburg, Virginia, Issy is a seasoned professional
polo player, has traversed the globe, yet the allure of her
hometown remains unparalleled. Raised in Middleburg and a
graduate of the University of Virginia, Issy, now 33, is deeply
connected to the town's equestrian culture and tight-knit
community.

Issy's equestrian roots trace back to her parents, retired
orthopedic surgeon Bill Wolf and Francesca Spano, who introduced
her to horses as a toddler. Her introduction to polo began at the
young age of nine after hopes of becoming a jockey fell through
because of her height. Her talent continued on into college as
she played a crucial role in her school's two-time national
collegiate championship-winning polo team. 

Beyond her exploits on the polo field, Issy boasts a
multi-faceted career. A real estate agent at Thomas & Talbot
Estate Properties, she seamlessly blends her passion for horses
with property dealings. Her adeptness extends to managing social
media for local businesses, fostering connections between the
equestrian and real estate realms.

Middleburg’s charm, with its preserved small-town character and
flourishing local businesses, captivates Issy. Every visit to a
local coffee shop becomes a reunion, showcasing the enduring
warmth of the community where she grew up.


Issy's commitment to community service shines through her support
for The Middleburg Humane Foundation, the Windy Hill Foundation,
and the Piedmont Environmental Council. Beyond financial
contributions, she urges others to donate or volunteer,
contributing to the preservation of the community's rich
tapestry. As Issy continues to shine in both the equestrian and
real estate arenas, her heart remains firmly grounded in the
enchanting landscapes of her hometown and the sport of polo.
