If at first your bow explodes, get another one, then get
redemption … Guest Profile
Cody Moen is a junior in high school, and a bowfishing maniac.
Cody has fished (hunted?) most every pond, stream, and lake in
the Central Florida area that is a target rich environment
for tilapia. When Cody is not slinging arrows, he loves playing
ice hockey (yes, we have that in Florida). Also, he enjoys just
being out in nature, whether at the beach or in the
woods. On this episode, Cody shares an epic bowfishing trip
when he and friends first got the boat stuck, but then got busy
sticking fish – LOTS of ’em.

Fishing experience
Cody grew up surf fishing and shark fishing around Florida. He
has recently gotten into freshwater fishing for largemouth bass.
But by far, Cody’s favorite fishing pole is a compound bow, and
he has several fish fry’s under his belt to prove just how good
he has gotten at this sport. You can follow Cody’s insane
bowfishing adventures with fellow members of the Flying Plecos
Bowfishing Team (including Justin from Episode 001 and Nicky from
Episode 004) on National Pro Staff (NPS) and Instagram at the
links above.
