The Iceman cometh, on his ice barge … Guest Profile
Capt. Lonney Goman of Green Bay Trophy Fishing knows the Great
Lakes water inside out and, and even frozen. Not only does he run
open water fishing trips during the summer, he hauls a small
city’s worth of gear out onto the ice during the winter time for
some epic walleye, pike, and whitefish action. But sometimes it’s
not the fishing that’s the wildest part of the adventure, it’s
the trip home …

Fishing experience
Lonney is a Wisconsin native who has fished it’s diverse
freshwater fishery since he was young. He knows his water,
from shallow water walleyes to deep water salmon, and
everything in between. Lonney loves to catch fish any
which way, but he may have a little bit of polar bear in him
because he especially loves ice fishing. In this episode, we talk
about both the open water and ice fishing that Lonney does, as
well as some of the interesting challenges you can encounter when
your office is a giant frozen lake.

fed) ice fishing clients (lower right)
Location
This episode takes place on Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Catch of the Day Pike and Walleye
This episode is about open water and ice fishing for the beasts
of Green Bay. Plus a very interesting ride home after ice
fishing.
