Ant Peak is an avid bass angler, soldier, and he grew up in the
same home town as host John Woodson. It’s hard to believe things
could get much more awesome than that. But they do! You see, Ant
got to meet one of his heroes—Ronnie Green, host of A Fishing
Story TV show. Then Ronnie and Ant went out for some Lake Dora
fishing action on Ant’s home lake. By itself that would make for
a really epic day. But when the schooling bass and the bedding
bass all decide to cooperate? Well now that’s when the epic dial
goes to 11!

Fishing experience

As a Florida native (an endangered species!), Ant is well
schooled in bass fishing the lakes around his Central Florida
home town of Mt. Dora. Of those, Lake Dora fishing is his
favorite. He also got to chase some of Florida’s salty species
growing up as well. But it is the big “green girls” that are the
love of his heart. And (spoiler alert) that’s just what he finds
in this episode.
