046 – Gotta Jet with Mike Hale

Mike Hale is our first guest from the Peach State – Georgia.
Besides having that great distinction, Mike’s preferred fishing
vessel also sets him apart. You see, Mike has gone full throttle
into personal watercraft fishing. After a rough day fighting the
current in his kayak, Mike thought there had to be a better way.
So, a pact was sealed with his cousin and fishing partner, and
they both bought a “ski”. Now they are starting to get this
unique fishing system dialed in, and no fish is off limits. In
this episode, Mike shares how he used his new water rocket to
boat a whole bunch of sweet Georgia bass.

Fishing experience

From his home base of Augusta, Georgia, Mike branches out to hit
many of the local rivers and lakes. His regular target species
are largemouth bass, stripers, and catfish. But now that he has a
PWC and a taste for saltwater, Mike is geared up for the big
pond. He already has a couple of offshore personal watercraft
fishing trips under his belt. And many more planned.
