Burt Whitlow - US Army Counterintelligence - Burt Whitlow is one of
Pete's friends from their time at D Co, 165th MI Bn. They worked at
the same field office in Hanau Germany. One of the things that's
makes these shows so interesting is the era where these two
counterintelligence agents were in the Army. The Cold War was over
and getting further into the past. CI Agents were going more
strategic. The US wasn't going to wars anymore. As the military
sought to change CI the Dayton Peace Accords were authored. That
means putting NATO troops on the ground in Bosnia-Herzegovina. In
an instant, Burt and Pete's careers changed direct. Instead of
civilian clothes and overseas strategic assignments, it was battle
uniforms and the unknown of a NATO combat deployment. Whitlow joins
Pete A Turner on the Break It Down Show. Two old spies sit down and
talk about the work they did/do. We're looking around and it
doesn't seem like anyone else is offering two actual field
experience spies, talking shop. That's pretty cool! Please support
