Extended opening –  The show opens with the powerful Aerosmith
song "Janie's Got a Gun." about a young girl being sexually abused
by her father.  Tyler Perry on why he wrote the song: Tyler
found inspiration for the lyrics after reading two articles – a
TIME magazine story on gun violence in the US and a Newsweek piece
about child abuse; he connected the song with the theme of child
abuse and incest. The singer declared that "I got really angry that
nobody was paying homage to those who Mom and Dad abused"
