Ep 5 - Sufjan Stevens: The Ascension

In episode 5 of This Is Not Happening, we wade through blog
favourite  Sufjan Stevens' much-awaited new album, The
Ascension. It's the first album we've picked for an episode
before its release, following 2015's Carrie and Lowell, a deeply
personal album that we all loved on its release. The Ascension is
a departure into electronica, and it truly split opinion.

We'll also be diving into new music for the first time, much
overdue, with four superb tracks from the past few months. They
really were a joy, and you can find them here:
