46. Kellen Winslow, Jr: Football Hall of Famer to Convicted Rapist

The once highest paid tight end in the NFL, Kellen Winslow, Jr,
is now facing 14 years in prison for five forcible rapes,
including an unconscious homeless woman. His victims are as young
as 17 and as old as 77. The sentencing judge called Winslow a
“sexual predator” who picked on the most vulnerable. Joining
Katrina Daniel on this episode is criminal defense attorney Bruce
Fleisher, to talk about the crime, plea deal and why Winslow
thought he would “get away with it." Then professional
psychologist, Dr. Theodora "Teddy" Tarr, gives some insight into
the mind of person that could commit such a crime.
