63. Freeing Britney

Britney Spears says that she has been “held captive” by her
father Jamie and his conservatorship order for the past 13 years
— After entering a salon and randomly shaving her head lead to a
highly-publicized meltdown. According to published reports,
Spears has lived under extremely restrictive rules that she
claims to have kept her from living her life. Her fans and famous
friends created the “Free Brittany” movement, demanding that the
singer’s conservatorship be removed. On this episode, Katrina
Daniel breaks down what a conservatorship is and how it applies
