89. A Rabbi Speaks on the Texas Temple Attack and Growing Anti-Semitism

On Saturday, January 15, a terrorist held four people hostage,
Rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker and three congregants, at
Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, Texas. The armed
hostage-taker was gunned down several hours later, and the
hostages were freed and unharmed. This hate crime, is also
connected to others involved in the plot, in Manchester, England
where arrests have been made. Katrina’s guest, Rabbi Rachel
Greengrass of Temple Beth Am in South Florida, talks about how
attacks such as this affect the communities and individuals
targeted, growing anti-semitism and what is being done to keep
congregants as safe as possible.
