Before we get into this episode, Lisa shares her experience with
a newfound therapy…too funny!  On the “Did you Know?”
segment, Sunni and Lisa discuss the loss of Justice Ruth Bader
Ginsburg aka Notorious RBG and the significance of her death on
the first day of Rosh Hashanah.  Not only is her passing
unfortunate, the timing couldn’t be worse.  This
administration’s shenanigans are unimaginable, but not
unmistakable!


Dr. David Campt is the author of the “White Ally Toolkit”. 
Before we delve into the tools for Allies, we hear what Dr. Campt
was marinated in during his childhood upbringing, it all started
in Detroit! 


Do you even believe that racism exists? What does it mean to be
an Ally?  One thing for sure, it means commitment! 
Know matter how daunting you may believe it to be, you’ve got to
stay committed.  What it isn’t - is giving up when things
become really tough!  Dr. Campt offers advice for those who
believe they are Allies and those who aspire to become an
Ally.  Are you ready to be vulnerable?  Dr. Campt
dissects both Sunni and Lisa’s experiences and perceptions about
race and race relations.  Dr. Campt says that he keeps his
hopes high and his expectations low!  Come on now, you know
you’ll have to listen to find out what he’s referencing.  
Do you believe that white people are adversely impacted by
racism?  Yup, you’ll have to listen to find out the answer
to this question too.  Hold on to your thought about
it.  Are you interested in engaging in discussions about
race? Are you interested in knowing how to effectively
communicate with folks who do not believe in racism?  This
is definitely the episode for you! Put your seatbelt on, oh wait,

you’re going to want to pull over!
