Sunni and Lisa decided to end the year with a compilation of
excerpts from several of this year’s episodes.  It was hard
to decide which episodes because there were many insightful,
candid and moving conversations between the two and their
guests.  Those discussions provided insight, hope and
resilience.

As they peered in the rearview mirror of 2020, an Unprecedented
year to say the least, it offered a time for reflection.
Lisa put out a call to the Universe for a co-host, Sunni heard
the call and responded Hint: “What Were You Marinated In?” has
the deets. Now 6 months and over 25 episodes later, here they are
with an active Social Justice platform!  Because of their
passion, the ideation process was easy enough, the name was
tweaked several times until they settled on “Active Allyship…it’s
more than a #hashtag!

Simply stated, the goal of the podcast is to “Inform. Engage.
Educate. Act.”

2020 in review:

How it started: a pandemic, a crazy ass Presidential race for the
White House, the murders of Ahmaud Aubrey, Breonna Taylor, George
Floyd and countless other innocent BIPOC victims. These victims
died at the hands of a law enforcement culture that offers no
consequences for police brutality. (at least that’s how it’s seen
in the eyes of too many)

How it ended: a vaccine for the pandemic, Biden-Harris will be
leading the country and an ongoing movement by and for the
people: A Revolution! (It is being televised by the way)

Here’s a list of the episode experts…
