Need 2 Nerd: Loving

On July 14, 1958 In the state of Virginia two people were
arrested. Their crime? “cohabiting as man and wife, against the
peace and dignity of the Commonwealth” This peace and dignity? A
white man being married to “A person of color”  They were
sentenced to one year in prison, suspended for 25 years on the
condition that they leave the state and not return together at
the same time.
