Episode 25: Sleepy-eyed Idaho Driving and breathing in smoke

This smoke has stretched all the way to Idaho. I figured it would
be clear over there but it's still just as smoky. It's supposed
to rain tonight. I hope that brings some of this smoke down but
it seems like it'll be to light to make a big dent in it. How
does California have wildfires every year? I feel like there's no
forest left at this point. But I say that not knowing how vast or
huge that forest might be or how fast it may bounce back from
this. They say volcanic ash is the most fertile. Maybe wildfire
ash is the second most fertile? Imagine if this smoke cloud
spreading actually ended up spreading and causing a huge growth
in plant life all across the west coast. Ha! I can only imagine
such a fairy tale ending.
