about her experiences on Season 8 of Project Runway and Season 5
of Project Runway AllStars along with a glimpse into what the
fashion industry is like behind the scenes, some inaccuracies and
things people did not know PLUS some of the amazing things she's
doing with her own company Yellowcake Shop!


From her reaction to fellow designer and Project Runway
contestant Mondo Guerra disclosing on the show his battle with
HIV, to her thoughts on Tim Gunn and the judges, and how helpful
(or not) the show is as a designer, Valerie is open about
everything. Of equal (if not more) importance are her thoughts on
the harsh conditions of fashion workers and inequity in pay for
