Winthrop Day broadcast (hour 1), Amanda James & Karen Roof

(Rock Hill, S.C.) -- Eagle Air hosted a special broadcast for
Virtual Winthrop Day (April 25), which included interviews with
students, faculty, staff and alumni, in order to give prospective
students and families a look at what it's like to be part of the
Winthrop community. We also asked people to share songs they
would recommend for our #PandemicPlaylist.


In the first hour we spoke with Dr. Amanda James, director of
admissions and adjunct faculty, about her experience at Winthrop
and the process of applying to the university. We also spoke with
alumnus Karen Roof (1987), who is a physical education teacher
for the Rock Hill schools. She also taught at Winthrop for more
than 20 years and has twice been named S.C. PE teacher of the
year.
