Winthrop Day broadcast (hour 9), Scott Huffmon & Ryan Brooks

(Rock Hill, S.C.) -- Eagle Air hosted a special broadcast for
Virtual Winthrop Day (April 25), which included interviews with
students, faculty, staff and alumni, in order to give prospective
students and families a look at what it's like to be part of the
Winthrop community. We also asked people to share songs they
would recommend for our #PandemicPlaylist.


In the ninth hour, we spoke with Dr. Scott Huffmon, professor of
political science and director of the Winthrop poll, about his
experience at Winthrop and the 2020 South Carolina primary.
Additionally, we spoke with Ryan Brooks (2017), a political
reporter for Buzz Feed who has been covering the 2020 Democratic
primary, about his time at Winthrop. He double majored in mass
communication and political science at Winthrop.
