We all have our own set of financial standards, the things that
we are ok and not ok with when it comes to money.
It's our bottom line.
The boundaries we create in our finances become our financial
standards.
Think about it in terms of dating. We all had or have a
certain set of standards that we want in another person. Those
standards guide or guided your decisions on who you were ok with
dating or not.
Financial standards work similarly. Our standards guide our
day-to-day purchasing decisions without even thinking about it.
Many times we don’t even realize that we have financial
standards. They are just ingrained inside us.
The key is to notice what financial standards you need to keep
and what you need to change, and that's what this episode is all
about.
If you want to see real, lasting change in your finances, you
have to have a set of financial standards that serve you.
