Lyle Blackburn, leading cryptid researcher and author, joins Dean
and Jenn to discuss his highly anticipated upcoming book SINISTER
SWAMPS: MONSTERS AND MYSTERIES FROM THE MIRE, some of his
previous seminal works, including MOMO: THE STRANGE CASE OF THE
MISSOURI MONSTER and THE BEAST OF BOGGY CREEK: THE TRUE STORY OF
THE FOUKE MONSTER, and his involvement with several Small Town
Monsters documentaries. The conversation delves into Lyle's deep
knowledge of Bigfoot type creatures and other cryptids, as well
as some of the stranger theories and cases of cryptid research:
including paranormal interpretations, three-toed creature tracks,
Missouri's own “Minnesota Iceman”, weird parallels between the
