Demystifying the Psychiatric Process | Lucy Sloninsky, MD

Dr. Sloninsky is a board certified in adult psychiatry through
the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She completed her
psychiatry residency training at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in
Los Angeles. From there she completed a psychiatry fellowship at
UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute with a specialization in Mood
Disorders. She has completed an additional board certification
through the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine. Dr.
Sloninsky has experience in a variety of clinical settings in
both the public and private sectors including working with
military veterans at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center,
community psychiatry, and private practice. She has also been
part of the UCLA faculty as a clinical instructor for UCLA
medical students and psychiatry residents Today we talk about the
psychiatric visit in order to demystify and bring clarity the
process for those considering visiting a psychiatrist.
