The Nature of Nurture | Dr. Leslie Carr

Dr. Leslie Carr is a licensed clinical psychologist who has worked
in a variety of environments over the years, including inpatient
psychiatric hospitals and community mental health settings. She
also has been in private practice for over a decade. Her passion is
in educating people about mental health and mental illness,
dissolving the false binary between the two, and helping people to
focus on holistic approaches to wellness. Her work in public
psychoeducation has been featured in The Huffington Post, The LA
Times, and ABC News among other places, and she’s the host of a
podcast which explored the nature v nurture debate by episodically
explaining how people respond to their environment in complicated
