Fostering Mental Health Clinician Wellness and Avoiding Burnout | Kaelly Arellano and Brandon Shindo

Kaelly Arellano and Brandon Shindo are Licensed Clinical Social
Workers and the co-founders of K & B Therapy, Inc.—a group
practice located in Sherman Oaks, but servicing individuals all
throughout California.   They specialize in providing
culturally sensitive mental health services for young
professionals, college students, and people of color. Kaelly is a
proud first-generation Latina and Brandon is a fourth generation
Japanese American. Together, they hope to be able to break down
mental health stigmas within their communities by offering
relatable therapeutic services that embrace culture, language, and
the values of their clients.   K & B are also motivated to
support other mental health professionals engage in preventative
care for burnout and have developed a unique virtual group, “This
Therapist Goes 2 Therapy” to provide a space where mental health
professionals can also prioritize their wellness.   K & B
