Travis Carlson spent a decade umpiring professional baseball. He
now works games in the ACC, SEC, and Conference USA. Travis resides
in the Tampa Bay area and is a huge 49ers fan. He and I discuss in
great detail the upcoming NFC Championship this Sunday between our
two teams. We also chat about his umpiring journey and the
friendships he made along the way. I met Travis back in 2009 when
we were both umpiring at different levels of Minor League Baseball
in Florida. The path to Super Bowl 56 starts and ends at Sofi
Stadium in Los Angeles with a legendary rivary!
