Paul Mize spent 35 years with the Los Angeles Police Department and
worked primarily as a Homicide Detective. During his career, he
also officiated football as a proud member of the Foothill Citrus
Football Officials Association. Paul discusses his time in law
enforcement and the similarities that occasionally arose while
officiating football. He shares some memories from the past that
included being among the first on scene at the RFK Assassination
and his work in famous LA cases such as the Hillside Strangler.
Paul has seen it all in the LAPD and goes into great detail as to
the intensity of his daily experiences.
