BJJ and Brews Episode 48: Carlos Diaz - ATT O.G. and ADCC Referee

Carlos Diaz joins the podcast to share a wealth of stories and
MMA/BJJ history. Carlos has had a long and storied journey in the
combat sports community. He is a 3rd degree black belt under
Ricardo Liborio, a highly respected ADCC referee, and helped run
American Top Team gyms throughout the USA. Carlos recounts his
early days in South Florida, training jiu-jitsu under Pablo
Popovitch and later being involved in the creation of American
Top Team. He talks about moving to the midwest and opening an ATT
gym there. In addition, Carlos touches on refereeing, competing,
meeting ATT Orlando Head Coach Paul Rodriguez, and his opinion on
what it means to be a black belt.
