French Connection II (1975)

In need of a new tactic to avoid the Animal Gods, we decided to
try and class the joint up a bit with the return of friend of the
show Mitch to discuss FRENCH CONNECTION II, John Frankenheimer's
seemingly immediately forgotten sequel to the grimy classic.
Friedkin's film has a massive reputation to uphold -- iconic
chases, cutting characters, thoughtful insight into the duality
of law enforcement -- and with Mitch's help, we try to find out
if "what if Popeye but in Marseilles" is up to the challenge.
