Sleep matters for a lot of reasons, and may even matter as much
as some of your training! For starters, the physiological repair
and growth that actually makes you better happens when you rest,
but predominantly when you sleep. It improves motor learning
(learning a new skill) and cognitive function. And better sleep
can lead to better emotional well-being. Unfortunately, the
converse is also true; a lack of sleep can lead to a decrease in
optimism and mood. Listen to my tips on how you can enhance
your sleeping patterns!
