Around the turn of the century, Casey teamed with the likes
of Richie Frahm, Matt Santangelo, and Dan Dickau in leading the
Zags to three consecutive NCAA tournament appearances. That
streak continues today, as Gonzaga has made 21 straight trips to
the Big Dance, a mark only bested by Kansas, Duke, and fellow
19nine school Michigan State.


Casey was the 2001 West Coast Conference Player of the Year
and followed that up with a professional career in Japan, France,
Australia, and Spain.


19nine excited to have Casey here to reflect on that run and
Gonzaga’s ascent as a premier college basketball program.
