There are so many avenues to being involved in the basketball
universe. I was doing research for an interview and overheard
Dennis Page talking about an Instagram account that was
documenting the entire history of SLAM Magazine. I loved this
idea and reached out. In doing so I found out that Sammy had
become the official archivist for SLAM. I love someone turning a
passion project into a contribution to the community. His
knowledge of SLAM and the story of how he turned an Instagram
account into a job is a story you'll enjoy.
