Today we are taking another deep dive into Kentucky Wildcat
hoops -- this time with former Wildcat Aminu Timberlake. A 6-9
forward from Chicago’s DeLaSalle High School, Timberlake picked
UK and coach Rick Pitino over DePaul, Michigan, and others as a
coveted prep recruit out of the Chicago Catholic League in 1991.
The only Aminu to ever play D1 hoops, Timberlake joins the 19nine
podcast to share stories of getting recruited by Rick Pitino and
other coaching luminaries, playing in the Greatest Game ever, The
Stomp, The Shot, and his enduring memories of two years with the
Kentucky Wildcats.
