March 24, 2019 — Namibia’s national soccer team, the Brave
Warriors qualified for AFCON 2019 despite a 4-1 loss to Zambia in
Lusaka on the 24thof March.Namibia advanced on a better
head-to-head against Mozambique who lost 3-2 to Guenea
Bissau.
This is the third time that Namibia qualify for the African
soccer extravaganza since independence.
We spoke to Silvester "Lollo" Goraseb about the qualification.
Goraseb is now is a retired Namibian footballer, and competed for
the Namibia national football team from 1996-2001, including the
1998 African Cup of Nations.
