The results of the Regional Council and Local Authority Elections
are finally starting to take shape as town around the country
starts to announce Mayors and Management Committee members. Job
Amupanda was, perhaps unsurprisingly announced as the new Mayor
for Windhoek, becoming the youngest ever Mayor in an independent
Namibia, aged just 33. The crew also scrutinizes the application
by the ECN to the courts, to stage a re-run of certain elections
in the Hardap and \\Karas regions, due to what they are calling
procedural errors in the process at the affected polling
stations.
