Tyrel Ventura is one of my good friends that I've known for about
20 years. I met him when I was living in Minneapolis at the
tail end of his father's (Jesse Ventura) term as governor
of Minnesota. Before he began his career as a news
commentator for RT's Watching the Hawks he began making short
films and being a part of a few independent features. His
training for all this came from real world experience as he
worked for academy award winner Sean Penn as his personal
assistant. It was there that he began to learn from veteran
filmmakers like Clint Eastwood and Alejandro G.
Iñárritu.
From there he relocated to Los Angeles Ca where he produced tv
shows like Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura and the films:
The Wanderers, American Rescue Squad, and my short film The
Rage.
