Ag Land Preservation

If your farm is located in an Agricultural Security Area,
contains contiguous acreage of at least 50 acres, contains at
least 50% soils of a capability class I-IV as defined by
USDA-NRCS, has at least 50% of the property’s total acreage in
current use as harvested cropland (excluding timber harvest),
pasture, or grazing land and is not part of a normal farming
operation generating farm income, contact the Susquehanna County
Conservation District before January 15th, 2019 to fill out an
application to preserve your agricultural land.
