The CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) and How It Came to Be

It was the era of the Great Depression. Few jobs, scarcity of
food, hardships in every walk of life.  Franklin D.
Roosevelt had an idea.  Implement conservation practices and
put young men to work.  Both facets of the idea were
successful and created many of the state parks and park
infrastructure still in use today and provided an income stream
for struggling families.  Join us this week as we discuss
