Peter Joffrion is a lifelong resident of North Alabama and a
dedicated public servant. His father, a pastor, and his mother, a
teacher, instilled in him the value of hard work, integrity, and
service. Shortly after graduating from law school at the University
of Alabama, Peter returned home to Huntsville and began work in the
City Attorney’s office. Over the course of a 22 year career as City
Attorney, Peter oversaw every major economic development in
Huntsville. He knows what it takes to produce good-paying jobs and
economic well-being for everyone. His wife Kerry is an ordained
minister and the founder and CEO of Turning Point Group, a company
committed to the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of
U.S. military veterans. Turning Point Group provides assistance to
veterans as they adjust to life after war. They also host an annual
9/11 Honor Walk to remember first responders and active and fallen
