will be included in the records of MLB, a place some have thought
they should have been long ago.
But what is the story of the Negro Leagues? Our conversation with
Raymond Doswell, Vice-president of the Negro Leagues Baseball
Museum in Kansas City, answers that question and more. The story
of the Negro Leagues is about world-class players in a segregated
society, but there is so much more to it. The Leagues represent
the struggle for equality in a time not that different from our
own!
