1 Peter Week 8: Self-Controlled & Sober Minded

This podcast is a recording from a weekly women’s Bible study in
Brandon, MS. This week in class, we talked about 1 Peter 4 and
discussed how knowing the outcome changes the way you play the
game. For the Christian, knowing that Christ is victorious over
suffering and sin and death changes everything. In these verses,
Peter talks about the way it affects our view of sin, the way we
treat one another in the church, and our reaction when suffering
and persecution comes. This teaching corresponds with the material
found on pages 102-115 of the learner workbook.
