DreamMachine Episode 10: Shrek 2

In this episode of DreamMachine, Patricia and Arun discuss about
the 2004 DreamWorks animated film Shrek 2, the sequel of the 2001
film Shrek. The movie takes place right after the end of the
first film where Shrek and Princess Fiona are on their honeymoon.
When returning home, they learn that Fiona's parents, the king
and queen of Far Far Away, are inviting them to a royal ball
celebrating their marriage. What little they know is that Fiona
didn't get married to the man they picked out for her, but a
regular ogre. The Fairy Godmother tries to get rid of Shrek in
order for Fiona to marry her son, Prince Charming, and inherit
Far Far Away. Will Shrek and Fiona keep their happily ever
after? 


When the movie premiered in theaters, DreamWorks became a
household name again with Shrek bringing in over $900 million
dollars in the box office and being nominated for Best Animated
Feature alongside The Incredibles and the next DreamWorks film
we'll talk about next week. Many people call this not only the
best Shrek film, but one of the best DreamWorks films in the
