DreamMachine Episode 25: Puss in Boots

In this episode of DreamMachine, Patricia and Arun discuss about
the 2011 DreamWorks animated film Puss in Boots, the prequel/spin
off of the Shrek franchise. The movie focuses on Puss trying to
locate the magic beans from Jack and the Beanstalk to lead him
towards where the giant goose is located to retrieve golden eggs
to restore his honor from his old hometown of San Ricardo.
Together with his old friend Humpty Dumpty and his love interest,
Kitty Softpaws, they work together to stop Jack and Jill from
getting to the golden eggs first.   


When the movie premiered in theaters, it received positive
reviews and made over $555 million dollars in the box office. It
became popular enough to have an animated series on Netflix and
is in talks of becoming rebooted alongside with Shrek by Chris
