DreamMachine Episode 34: Trolls

In this episode of DreamMachine, Patricia and Arun discuss about
the 2016 DreamWorks animated musical film Trolls based on the
Trolls dolls. The plot is about two trolls named Poppy and Branch
who work together to rescue their village from the Bergens led by
King Grisle. Jr who wish to eat them.   


The movie grossed over $346 million dollars on a $125 million
dollar budget and received mixed to positive reviews from critics
and fans claiming that while it was colorful and entertaining
with some of its songs, it borrowed heavily from the live action
Smurfs film, The Lego Movie, and Strange Magic for it to stand
out. It also received an animated series on Netflix titled
Trolls: The Beat Goes On and will receive a sequel on April 17,
