DreamMachine Episode 40: Abominable

In this episode of DreamMachine, Patricia and Arun discuss about
the 2019 DreamWorks/Pearl Studio animated film Abominable. The
movie takes place in Shanghai, China focusing on a girl named Yi
finding a yeti on her roof that she names Everest. She discovers
that Everest escaped from a company captured by an eccentric
exotic animal collector named Mr. Burnish. Yi and her two friends
Peng and Jin travel across China to take Everest home to Mount
Everest while Mr. Burnish and his men follow their trail to
capture them. Will they succeed in getting Everest home?  


When the film premiered in theaters, it made $189 million dollars
on a $70 million dollar budget while receiving mixed reviews from
critics calling it "predictable", "mediocre", and a step below
the How to Train Your Dragon films. What do Patricia and Arun
