PixMinis Episode 5: Knick Knack

In preparation for the release of Soul on Disney+, Arun and
Patricia decide to do a spinoff of PixMix called PixMinis where
they look back on a Pixar short every day until December 25th.
   In this episode, they look back on the 1989 Pixar
short Knick Knack. The plot is about a snowman inside of a snow
globe named Knick who wants to join a group of knick knacks
including a girl knick knack with a bikini. He tries many ways to
break out of the snow globe, but with no success.  This would
be the very last Pixar short created before their focus turned into
making interstitials for commercials and eventually pulling all
their resources into making Toy Story. How does the last classic
pre-Toy Story short end it with: a massive bang or an underwhelming
whimper?
